The vendor is a very knowledgeable classic car enthusiast and has embarked on a partial restoration on this Triumph. Although it was usually supplied as an open two-seater, an occasional rear seat and bolt on steel hard top were available as extras. Under body photos confirm limited miles since the restoration, which included the addition of a stainless steel exhaust. Vehicle history and service records prior to current ownership are unavailable. With twin SU carbs and in original spec, the engine was rated at 95-100 hp when new. The rebuild of this 2.0L inline-four included installation of a Big Bore kit using 87mm pistons and liners. A new black vinyl soft top, top cover, driver-quality side curtains, and partial tool kit are also included in the sale. #TRIUMPH TR3A OCCASIONAL SEAT LICENSE#The cubby behind the rear license holds a spare with good tread remaining. This Triumph rides on 15-inch 60-spoke stainless wire wheels, with Firestone S-211 radials mounted all around. This clip shows a short drive from behind the wheel.
